CONSTRUCTION OF RETAINING WALL AT VICTORIA PARK NORTH LONDON
Retaining wall height size 1.2 meters in depth by 200 mm thick with a 150mm toe. H8 reinforcement bars where put in at 250mm centers and H12 reinforcement bars where put in at 250mm centers as well. H12 reinforcement bars L shaped coming out of the toe into the main stem of the wall. Total length of the wall completed was 7 meters. Trench was dug out at 300mm wide. Land drain was laid with geotextile membrane first, and trench was then filled with gravel to fill the trench back up. Work was carried out using a mini digger and muck was removed from site via grabs.
